Kaikki yli 500 hengen yleisötapahtumat kiellettiin valtioneuvoston päätöksellä 31.5.2020 asti. Luontoelokuvafestivaali järjestetään 20.-23. elokuuta, joten tämänhetkiset viranomaisten määräykset eivät yllä tapahtuman ajankohtaan.
Festivaalijärjestelyt jatkuvat, mutta seuraamme jatkuvasti viranomaisten ohjeistuksia ja tilanteen kehittymistä. Kaikkein tärkeintä on yleisön, vieraiden ja talkoolaisten turvallisuus, joten kaikki päätökset festivaaliin liittyen tehdään turvallisuus edellä.

Planning continues, but we monitor the situation closely The Finnish government has banned gatherings of 500 people or more until end of May 2020 to fight the spread of coronavirus. The current ban doesn't apply to Savonlinna International Nature Film Festival as it will be organised between 20th and 23rd of August 2020.
We continue to organize the festival as planned, but we keep monitoring the situation very closely and we'll follow the instructions given by the Finnish government. All decisions related to the festival are made to guarantee the safety of our visitors, filmmakers and volunteers.
